I normally use 75/25 for most of my work and save the 90/10 for spray welding on some high quantity pieces where weld appearance isn't an issue. Mig weld benefits from a little active gas (o2, co2) mixed with inert gas. Co2 pulling angle penetrated into the root plenty deep. Welding of stainless steel is typically done with c2 or 2% carbon dioxide and 98% argon. It is limited to short circuit and globular transfer welding.
